The 25 year vision to expand assessment, diagnostic, treatment and support services in the community requires more sophisticated premises that will provide for multi-disciplinary working and enhanced technological links with other areas of the system. This requires the development of a network of primary and community care centres across Northern Ireland. SIB is working with DHSSPS and Health Estates Agency in preparing a Strategic Business Case for the £640m (first phase) programme which includes designing a procurement model and associated delivery structures to ensure the key policy objectives are secured.
